Aquarium bubble tower

One-of-a-kind ceramic bubble diffuser designed to put over an air stone in a fresh water fish tank. Thrown on the wheel and finished by hand. White clay body with a dark brown iron-based glaze.

Safety

My aquarium pieces have been designed to not impact aquatic life. That’s why all items have been:

• handcrafted from natural, non-toxic clay;
• glazed without the use of toxic heavy metal oxides like copper, lead or cobalt;
• fired at temperatures over 1200 degrees celsius so the clay body is completely vetrified and stable;
• pre-soaked in fresh running water for at least three days.

Size compatibility

Like all aqarium decor, not every piece is suitable for every creature. Please note that all my bubble diffusers on sale are safe to use in tanks with medium to large fish (5cm and more). Smaller fish like tetra’s could get stuck in the holes or get trapped inside the piece.

Disclaimer

My aquarium pieces have been tested in consumer-grade fresh water circumstances. Pre-soaked pieces do not leach chemicals or impact the ph in a meaningful way. Do your own testing if you want to use this piece in a salt water tank, a tank housing a fragile ecosystem, or an otherwise specialized or commercial-grade setup.
